What is Sudoku?

Sudoku is a magical square of numbers placed in a 9x9 arrangement. Depending on difficulty, more or less numbers are previously shown.

Missing numbers have to be found out using the sudoku rules, a few sudoku strategies and logical combinations. Every sum in each row and column as well as in each 3x3 area has to be the same - 45.

The best Sudoku strategies and rules are also described in a short and easy to understand way, including helpful illustrations.

 

 

Where is Sudoku from?

Sudoku is a successor of the so called “Magical Squares”. Those magical squares are as old as human beeings can think. Some people suppose they were brought from paradise by Adam and Eve. ;-)

Sudoku as we know it today, was first published in 1979 by an american magazine for logicals & mathmatics.
